This page is a work in progress. I will write about the reported physical attributes of Bigfoot.
I find the reported running speed of Bigfoot to be one of the most fascinating aspects of sightings. Bigfoot is reported to be capable of running at incredible speeds. Phrases like "something so big shouldn't be able to move so fast" or "the fastest thing in the woods" are descriptors that are not in most reports, as most sightings are of Bigfoot walking or standing still. But the sightings that mention running almost universally describe it as explosively fast. When comparing this trait to related species it doesn't make sense. In primates, humans are the champions of long distance, but slow sprinters with a slow top speed. Gorillas and chimpanzees are faster than humans, however their speed would never be described as "unnerving". In creatures of a similar possible body size, we really only have bears as a comparison. Bears are fast. Very fast. But they are not described as like "lightning strikes". Bigfoot must be loaded with fast twitch muscle fibers to a degree that surpasses any primate or ursid.
